Dermot Kennedy brings The Weight of the Woods Tour to Skyline Stage at Highmark Mann on September 22!
On the path to his third full-length offering, The Weight of the Woods, 21st century troubadour Dermot Kennedy is enlightened and empowered by his whirlwind journey. His latest body of work draws inspiration, energy, and strength from his native Ireland. Kennedy found the perfect collaborator in producer Gabe Simon [Noah Kahan, Lana Del Rey]. The two tapped into an uncanny collaborative energy, with musical ideas still overflowing via late-night text chats after the sessions concluded.
Upon formally introducing himself in 2019, Dermot quietly made history when his first proper release, Without Fear, became the best-selling debut album in Ireland. He reached Platinum status in 12 countries and gathered nearly 5 billion total streams. His follow-ups include the acclaimed sophomore album Sonder and the introspective EP, “I’ve told the trees everything,” Dermot has shared the stage with some of his finest contemporaries, including Noah Kahan and Zach Bryan. His incredible journey has taken him from busking on the streets of Ireland to playing stadiums around the world, forging a deep, emotional connection with audiences.
Tickets are will be available on Friday, April 3 via Ticketmaster.
