Highmark Mann is pleased to present A Taste of Home with Chef Mike Solomonov on October 8. This one-of-a-kind event features award-winning cuisine, live music, and storytelling as the Presser Foundation Stage is transformed into an intimate, dynamic dining experience for one night only.

Throughout the evening, patrons will enjoy a multi-course family-style meal prepared by one of Philadelphia's most renowned chefs as he shares a rare behind-the-scenes look into his culinary process and inspirations. Mike Solomonov is the James Beard Award-winning chef and restaurateur behind Zahav, Federal Donuts & Chicken, Dizengoff, Goldie, Laser Wolf, and others, alongside his business partner Steve Cook.

The exclusive menu will feature signature dishes from Chef Mike's acclaimed restaurants, such as Hummus & Pita, assorted Mezze, Pomegranate Lamb Shoulder, Kebabs, Malabi Custard, Lemonana, and more. Each course will be expertly intertwined with live music from Polyphony, an ensemble of international artists.

Your ticket includes admission to the event, dinner, dessert, and non-alcoholic beverages. All tickets are general admission, and a limited number are available. Parties will be seated together at communal tables upon arrival.

Tickets will be available Friday, May 1 at 10AM via Ticketmaster.

About Chef Mike Solomonov

Mike Solomonov is the co-owner of CookNSolo Restaurants with his twenty-year business partner Steve Cook; Chef of the seminal restaurant Zahav; and co-author of four cookbooks. One of the country’s foremost restaurant minds, Solomonov is known as a champion for Israel’s vibrant and extraordinarily diverse culinary landscape, and as a steward of Philadelphia’s burgeoning food scene. He has garnered five James Beard Foundation Awards, including the coveted 2019 “Outstanding Restaurant”, 2017 “Outstanding Chef”, and 2016 “Cookbook of the Year” honors for Zahav. His restaurant group operates eight distinct concepts in Philadelphia, with properties also in Brooklyn and Miami. Renowned for their innovative flavors and memorable hospitality, CookNSolo’s concepts include Federal Donuts & Chicken, Dizengoff, Goldie, K’Far (Philadelphia and Brooklyn), Laser Wolf (Philadelphia and Brooklyn), Lilah Events, Jaffa Bar, and AVIV at 1 Hotel South Beach. In 2024, Solomonov co-founded Zahav Foods, a CPG company that brought his iconic signature dish, Zahav Restaurant Recipe Hummus, to households across the United States through retail at Whole Foods Market. Outside of the restaurants, you can often find Mike with Steve at Pho 75 in South Philly, working out the kinks in their Israeli village.
